Honorable William P. Joyce
William P. Joyce Esq. retired as an Immigration Judge in the United States Immigration Court in July 2002. Prior to becoming an Immigration Judge, Judge Joyce served as Legal Counsel to the Chief Immigration Judge who supervised 210 Immigration Judges throughout the United States. In that capacity, Judge Joyce worked closely with other branches in the Justice Department and Congress in complex legal matters affecting the Immigration Court.
Judge Joyce was also an Assistant United States Attorney of the Eastern District of Virginia, the Associate General Counsel of INS, and worked under Bill Weld at the United States Attorney Office in Boston. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the Georgetown University Law School.
Judge Joyce serves as Managing Director of Joyce and Associates. He has personally represented clients in extremely complex immigration cases with excellent results. These cases range from detained criminal aliens to individuals seeking relief through family and business petitions. He also can provide detailed analysis of individual cases with the likelihood of success. Further, Judge Joyce is actively involved in our business practice both in the obtaining of business visas and providing technical assistance to companies with compliance with immigrant requirements.
Stephany Amador represents clients in a variety of matters, including family based immigration petitions before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, removal defense before the Immigration Courts, relief for Asylum before Asylum offices and Family and Probate matters in relation to immigration petitions before the State Courts. Stephany received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and minor in Psychology from Stonehill College. Stephany is passionate about Immigration Law and has assisted many clients in obtaining legal status, including Asylum, Legal Permanent Resident Status and Citizenship. Prior to joining Joyce & Associates, Stephany worked at a Boston Immigration firm where she represented detained and non-detained clients at various Immigration Courts, assisted Asylum applicants at various asylum offices, and appeared before various Family and Probate Courts to assist juveniles and their caregivers. Stephany is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Giovanni Delgado received his Juris Doctor from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, IL. He received in Bachelors of Arts in History and Spanish at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Before law school, Giovanni worked in an immigration law firm in Chicago, IL where he learned about, and developed his passion for, Immigration Law. During law school Giovanni went to Dilley, Texas with his school’s Immigration Law Society to spend a week helping detained women prepare for their Asylum Credible Fear interviews. He also participated in his law school’s Immigration Law clinic where he observed immigration court hearings and helped immigrants with their immigration relief applications. Giovanni is fluent in Spanish.
Laura C. Joyce
Laura C. Joyce received her Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School. She received her Master’s in Social Work, specializing in clinical social work with children and families as well as her Bachelor’s degree in sociology, also from Boston College. Prior to joining Joyce & Associates, Laura worked as a therapist at the Boston Children’s Hospital, the Brandon Residential Treatment Center, and she continues to work part time at Bright Futures Adoptions. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. At Boston College Law School, she was the president of the Children’s Rights Law Group and represented children and their families in juvenile court and in family court matters. Laura has a particular interest in the overlap between family law and immigration law and represents many of our clients in the Family and Probate Court. Laura is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Fady Samaan is an immigrant to the US who has a passion for working with human beings and helping whenever he can. He received his Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2019. He received his BA in Political Science from Northeastern University in 2014. Fady is fluent in Arabic and proficient in French.
Krystle M. Santana
Krystle M. Santana counsels clients in a variety of matters, including deportation relief, family-based immigration, and family and probate matters. Krystle earned her B.A. and M.S. magna cum laude from University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston), and her J.D. cum laude from New England School of Law. During law school, Krystle interned at a Boston-based immigration firm with a primary focus on family-based immigration. She also participated in a family law clinic where she assisted indigent clients with contempt of parenting plans and divorce.
Prior to joining the firm, Krystle was an investigator for housing discrimination at the Boston Fair Housing Commission where she worked during the last year of her law school career. Krystle also worked for ten years as a Senior HR Specialist at UMass Boston focusing on employment-based immigration, recruitment, and employee relations.

Jingyi Helen Yu
Jingyi Helen Yu received her LLM (Master of Law) Degree from Boston University Law School in 2017, and she is a member of the State Bar of New York. Helen has been working in the immigration field for four years. Helen also holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Economics from East China University of Political Science and Law and has passed the Chinese Bar Exam. As a student immigration applicant, Helen has a passion for helping others like her. She is committed to serving the immigrant community. Helen is fluent in Mandarin.

Joventina Andriolli works in the legal field for over 20 years. She began her academic studies at Harvard Universities in an ESL program in the year of 1988. After she studied at Fisher College in 1994. She pursued an associated degree of computer specialist. In the year of 2008 she finished law school at the Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty in Vila Velha/ES, Brazil. She was inscribed at the Brazilian Order of Attorney in 2009. In 2011 she also got a lato sensu degree in Judicial Studies at Amages–Espirito Santo’s School of Magistrates. In the year of 2014 she got a second lato sensu degree in Ethics and Human Rights from the College Law of Vitoria and from the School of DA of Espirito Santo. In the year of 2016 she got a Master degree in USA law at Washington University in Saint Louis. While she is studying for the New York Bar, she has completed a paralegal program at Boston University in 2020.

Kathryn has been employed at Joyce & Associates, P.C. since 2002 specializing in business immigration and detention matters. In Washington, D.C. Kathryn was special assistant to the District Director of INS.
Deputy Director of State Advocacy for the American Psychological Association and grassroots coordinate for the recording rights coalition, and was a management assistant at Massport for seven years. She has been a licensed realtor for over 25 years.
Kathryn is a graduate of Boston College.

Marjorie Piani is a recent graduate from University of Florida, and she holds degrees in both English and Linguistics. Born and raised in Brazil, she always had a passion for languages, literature, foreign cultures and law. At Joyce and Associates, she is currently exploring the immigration area while helping immigrants like herself. Alexandra, born and raised in Brazil. She received her Law degree from Universidade Catolica De Pernambuco (UNICAP). She is currently registered at Ordem Dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB PE). She is a certified Paralegal after having completed Boston University’s Paralegal Program in 2013. She has experience in immigration law and real estate law with a background in management. Alexandra has aspirations to go to law school and continue her passion for immigration. She is fluent in Portuguese and English and proficient in Spanish.
Sabrina was born and raised in Massachusetts. Born into a family of immigrants, Sabrina has first-hand experience with family-based and employment-based immigration. She graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs, with minors in Computer Science, History, and Law and Public Policy. Previously, Sabrina has worked for the Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s Office and the Department of Justice at the United States Attorneys’ Office of the District of Massachusetts. In addition to her experience in the state and federal government, Sabrina has previous experience working in immigration law. Sabrina is fluent in English and Mandarin and is proficient in French and Spanish.
Leandro received his Master’s Degree in Business Intelligence and his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the Faculdade de Informatica e Administracao Paulista in Sao Paulo, Brazil. For years, Leandro worked providing technology services to Sao Paulo Court of Justice, bringing the digital process to 42% of the Civil Court throughout the State and 100% of the Appeal Court. After working as a Business Intelligence consultant for many years, he had a career change to Immigration Law when he came to the United States. He now serves as the Office Manager of Joyce and Associates. His passion is to assist immigrants, like himself, in understanding the immigration process and bringing joy to people following their dream of living in the United States. Leandro speaks English and Portuguese.
Daniel José Angulo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. Daniel was born and raised in Venezuela and came to the United States in 2018. Daniel has 5 years of experience in the accounting and financial industry, and is passionate about using his skills and expertise to help the immigrant community. One of his goals is also to pursue a Master´s Degree in accounting. Daniel is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, also speaks French and Italian.
Paula Fernandes recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston). She received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. Paula is the daughter of Brazilian immigrants and was raised in Brazil. In the future, she hopes to pursue a degree in Law to help others such as her family. Paula is fluent in Portuguese and speaks intermediate Spanish. Prior to joining the team, Paula volunteered at the Brazilian Women’s Group where she assisted the Brazilian immigrant community.
