Joyce and Associates specializes in practice before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals and various federal Circuit Courts. Retired Judge Joyce sat in the Boston Immigration Court for six years prior to his retirement. Before being a sitting Immigration Judge, he was legal counsel to the Chief Immigration Judge. He also was a former Assistant United States Attorney, and Associate General Counsel of the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Practice in Immigration Court is a complex process. It is very important that an individual case is presented in a manner that will be consistent with the result desired by the client. Failure to adhere to the procedural and substantive requirements can be disastrous to the client. Joyce and Associates prides itself on its attorney staff, all of whom have experience in presenting complex case before the Immigration Court.

Joyce and Associates also is skilled in appellate practice before the Board of Immigration Appeals and Federal Courts of Appeals. This requires the ability to prepare and present complex briefs to the various Courts. Failure to present cases in a detailed and convincing way will almost guarantee loss.
