Detained Immigrants
After September 11, 2001, the immigration authorities have detained many non-citizens in jails and prisons for various reasons. Some of these detainees have strong family, community and employment ties to the United States. Although many have claims of relief and for release from detention, they do not know their rights or understand the complexity of the immigration laws.
Joyce and Associates, PC provides a variety of services for non-citizens in immigration custody around the New England area. We assist non-citizens with relief assessment, application for prehearing release, and for those with claims for relief, we provide representation in Immigration Court.
